How does all this stuff work?

Well, in life I can guarantee you that we will never have all the answers, and sometimes we have the answers that we need at the time, and sometimes we don’t. That’s ok. Part of life is about learning and growing and when we are younger, we are doing that at a super crazy rate of knots. Sometimes we even think that we have all the answers when actually we don’t.

When working with me, not only will I help a person move forward, where I can, I will explain what is happening and why our brains do what they do. I’ve found that just understanding things sometimes help us know that our responses and reactions are normal.

I have lots of different tools and techniques that I can use which also means I don’t need all of the detail. Sometimes people are put off from looking for help because they don’t want to keep going over stuff that hurts.

There’s lots of learning to do as well, learning about how you do being you. There are those bits we love, and those bits we love less. That’s ok too.

Some of the stuff might be quite random that we do. I like to draw. I said I like to draw; I didn’t say I was any good at it. Often seeing a picture can help up work out what our brains are doing. It might be that I get you to draw, play a game even. It really is all about you as a person and what I think will help you.

I tend to work with everyone differently and that’s because we are all different. There is a framework, a process I follow and then I tailor it to each person I work with.

Most people work with me over 6 sessions, usually 2 weeks apart. Some slightly less, some slightly more. Again, we are all individual.

If you want to know more about how I work or how what I do works, then just drop me a message and I will get back to you as soon as I can.
